Galt has a special charm. We have a tight-knit community where people see each other all over town, enjoying friendly and familiar faces. It is evident in the laughter, waves, and smiles. I grew up in a small town on the Central Coast and remember that when I moved away, the thing I missed the most (which I did not expect!) was seeing people all over town at parks, schools, sporting events, and the local grocery store.
When my husband and I chose to make Galt our home and raise our family here twenty-five years ago, I was so pleased when I once again found this special quality. It was the kind-hearted and welcoming nature of the residents that impressed us the most! As the years went on, our relationships have only grown. We raised four children here, all of whom graduated from local high schools, and we now have the blessing of being grandparents. We understand the joys and challenges of raising children to adulthood and the importance of a strong community surrounding you.
My faith and family are important parts of my life. When I have free time, I also enjoy being outdoors—whether hiking, rock climbing, or riding my bike.
Serving our local Galt community has been very important to our family. My husband has coached high school baseball locally for fifteen years, promoting good citizenship on and off the field. As for me, education and youth causes have been a special passion over the years. Since 2022, I have been honored to serve on the Galt Elementary School Board. I am running for re-election to continue to build on our progress.
A uniquely balanced perspective. A commitment to Galt. A focus on what is best for students and families.
